Sapphire Ripple is a one of a kind stoneware vessel with a large cup shaped form, a richly textured surface and an unapologetically blue glaze. Light catches across the glaze and texture differently throughout the day, giving this practical piece the presence of a small sculpture.

Made during Sarah’s early days in pottery, its softly uneven shape and unpolished handmade finish are visible parts of the piece. It is for people who love bold colour, tactile objects and homewares with a real human hand behind them. The watertight form holds approximately 450 ml and works beautifully with fresh flowers, dried stems, leafy cuttings, paintbrushes or utensils.

A lovely way to use it

Pair it with yellow blooms, soft pink flowers or a few green stems for a cheerful colour contrast. When the flowers are gone, leave it out as a bold piece of ceramic art.

Care

Rinse or hand wash gently with mild detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden or extreme changes in temperature. Dry the base before placing the vase on delicate surfaces.
