Part show pony, part sea creature, entirely impossible to ignore.

Fierce and Floating is a 5 × 7 inch mini fine art giclée print created from Sarah Duck’s original lionfish watercolour. Flowing fins, layered blue washes and touches of gold give the artwork movement, detail and just the right amount of drama.

The original artwork was created for and debuted at the 2025 Incognito Art Show, a not for profit event designed to make collecting original art more accessible. It was offered anonymously for the show’s fixed $100 price, with Sarah’s identity revealed to its new owner only after it was purchased.

Profits from the event help fund programs supporting artists living with disability. In 2025, the show raised $210,000 for Studio A and The Art Factory.

This mini print gives its bold fins and underwater attitude another chance to make a splash while carrying forward the story of the event where it first found its audience.

Made for colour lovers, curious collectors and people who want their walls to have personality, the intricate subject draws you closer while the underwater palette keeps it easy to live with.

Why you will love it

  • The detailed lionfish creates a bold focal point without needing a large amount of wall space.
  • The blue, orange and gold palette balances playful character with an artful finish.
  • Its compact size makes an easy statement alone or completes the mini print trio.
  • Eco-Friendly Materials: Printed on environmentally conscious, FSC-certified paper.
  • Size: 13 × 18 cm / 5 × 7 inches
  • This print comes unframed

A lovely way to use it

Hang it above a bedside table, desk or small console where its detailed fins can be enjoyed up close. For more impact, pair it with Through Blue Water and Ancient Current.

The original found its first home through the 2025 Incognito Art Show, but the lionfish is still ready to make a splash as a mini fine art print. Give your walls something worth looking at.
