You know those gum nuts you have walked past a hundred times? They have been watching.
Deadly Gum Nuts reimagines a familiar Australian branch with clusters of skull shaped seed pods hanging between bright green leaves. The natural forms still feel recognisable, but the closer you look, the stranger the whole thing becomes.
This is Australian botanical art for the person who prefers their native flora with a darker sense of humour. It works beautifully in an entryway, study or gallery wall where the details can reward a second glance.
Created from Sarah Duck’s original watercolour and part of the Little Duck Studios Wicked Blooms collection.
