Blue Bloom | One of a Kind Stoneware Vase

Blue Bloom is a one of a kind stoneware vase from the Sapphire Studies collection, shaped by hand and finished with rich blue glaze and playful floral details. Its rounded, gently irregular form gives it a soft sculptural feel, while the colour makes it lovely enough to leave on display between bunches.

This special piece was featured at the Museum of Brisbane in 2023 as part of the Commune exhibition, giving it a beautiful place in the story of Little Duck Studios as well as a documented exhibition history.

Made during Sarah’s early days of working with clay, the vase retains the honest signs of that process. Its hand shaped edges and slightly wonky silhouette are part of its story rather than flaws to hide. Made for colour lovers and pottery collectors who value character over factory perfect uniformity, it remains fully watertight and ready for fresh flowers, dried stems or a quiet moment of glory on a shelf.
